QCB GRADUATES

CLASS OF 2024

When I first joined QBIO, I was terrified that I wouldn’t be capable of succeeding in this major, but the amazing students and professors of QBIO made joining this major one of the best choices I ever made. I loved discovering that my long-lost preschool best friend was in the same major as me, hanging out in the QBIO lounge working and talking with other students, playing late-night ping pong, becoming close friends with my QBIO mentee, going to professors’ office hours and just chatting with them about life, and supporting each other through difficult classes. Not only have I made incredible friendships through this major, but I also pushed myself to take classes that are academically challenging and discovered in what ways I want to be part of the future of biotech.

Post Graduation: After graduation, I will remain at USC for another year to finish my progressive master’s degree in Applied Data Science.

“One of my highlights as a QBIO student was during my time as a teaching assistant for the QBIO course “Multi-Omic Data Analysis.” At the end of the semester, we had the privilege of having final presentations at the Ellison Institute of Technology. It was extremely gratifying to witness both the cutting-edge facilities and innovation at the institute, as well as the culmination of the students' hard work over the semester showcased through their presentations.”
